Caressa Bennet is the managing principal of Bennet & Bennet, a full-service telecommunications law firm specializing in the representation of rural wireline and wireless broadband companies, including ILECs, cellular, PCS and CLECs. Bennet represents clients before the FCC, state regulatory agencies, the courts and Congress. For more than 20 years, she has successfully advised clients and industry groups on creating strategic alliances and new businesses opportunities. Her expertise spans all aspects of telecommunications, and she is a nationally recognized expert on rural wireless issues.

Bennet is a regular speaker at industry trade shows and has published numerous articles on wireless and rural telecommunications issues. She is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She serves as general counsel to the Rural Telecommunications Group and as pro bono legal counsel to the Foundation for Rural Education Development.
