Canfield, Jill–NTCA

Jill Canfield is senior regulatory counsel in the legal and industry division of the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association. The association, incorporated in 1954, promotes the interests of its 500 small and rural telephone cooperatives and commercial companies.

Before joining NTCA in 1998, Ms. Canfield was an associate at a Washington, D.C. law firm, where she represented and provided legal guidance to wireless, wireline, and broadcast clients.

Ms. Canfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. She is a member of the New York State and District of Columbia bars and is certified for corporate practice in Virginia. She is also a member of the Federal Communications and American Bar Associations.
