Charles Erke has served as the information systems manager since1999 for Green Hills Telephone, where is responsible for design and maintenance of Internet services and the internal network/billing system. Erke also assists in the technical design and development of new technologies. From 1988 until1999, he was the owner/manager of Connecting Point Computer Center, which specialized in network design, installation and maintenance for businesses, K-12 schools and higher education institutions. The company, which he sold in 1999, had 21 employees and four locations in northern Missouri. Prior to operating his own business, Erke worked at Siemens Medical Systems from 1970 to 1988 as the field service engineer for nuclear and ultrasound imaging equipment. His duties ranged from service tech and office manager to the district supervisor for the multistate operation.
