Nieuwstraten, Dave–Pivot Group

Dave Nieuwstraten is a co-founder and managing principal with the Pivot Group (askpivot.com). Nieuwstraten has 18 years of marketing and research experience in the industry. Prior to starting the Pivot Group, Nieuwstraten held senior marketing positions for GVNW Consulting, Cathey, Hutton & Associates (now CHR Solutions), and BCT, a telecommunications company located in Oregon. While at BCT he helped launch their CLEC and competitive cable TV businesses and implemented marketing programs that resulted in industry leading product penetration rates. Nieuwstraten has a business degree with a marketing emphasis, from California State University San Diego. He has also completed the AMA School of Marketing Research at the University of Notre Dame. Nieuwstraten has served on the board of NTCA's Foundation for Rural Service. He is a frequent writer and speaker on research and marketing-related topics.
