George Schmitt is a director and the chief executive officer of MB Technology Holdings, LLC (MBTH). MBTH is the parent company of xG Technology, Inc., a leader in cognitive radio network technology. Schmitt has more than 45 years of broad telecom experience in wireless and wireline companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of xG Technology, Calient, Kentrox and Teleworx. Schmitt is an SBIC director at TeleSoft Partners, a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, and is trustee of St. Mary's College of California in Moraga, California. Mr. Schmitt received an M.S. in danagement from Stanford University, where he was a Sloan Fellow, and a B.A. in political science from Saint Mary's College.
